This October 11-14, we will be celebrating the Spirit of SABI together in Georgia at the exquisite, boutique, beautiful JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District.

Highlights include a Live Concert (!) in a professional venue, a Moon Deck welcome reception (with a slide!), a 135-foot dinosaur, Captain Blackbeard, riverside ambiance, a world-class education, powerful storytelling, maximum interaction and social vibrance, and much more. This will be the best SABI meeting you have ever attended.

You will want to book your rooms early, and plan to arrive Saturday night.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Attendees are Academic and Private Practice radiologists who want to master body imaging.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
At the end of this activity, physicians will be able to:
  • Interpret imaging findings of the abdomen, pelvis, and chest to generate accurate differential diagnoses and actionable reports.
  • Apply the 2026 body imaging guidelines and supporting trial evidence to justify diagnostic and management decisions to clinical colleagues and patients.
  • Select and apply current AI-based and quantitative imaging tools across CT, MR, and nuclear medicine to improve diagnostic accuracy and workflow efficiency.
  • Compare the clinical and financial tradeoffs of emerging imaging technologies — including photon-counting CT, low-field MR, and PET/MR — to optimize practice operations and inform acquisition decisions.
  • Measure and communicate the health value generated by imaging services using established outcomes and value frameworks.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership communication strategies within a radiology practice or department.
  • Design a methodologically sound imaging research study, including hypothesis formulation, outcome selection, and appropriate statistical approach.

Taxes and Fees:

City Transport Fee - $1.00 per room, per night

State Transport Fee: $5.00 per room, per night

Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (15%) in effect at the time of check-out.

PARKING:

The Hotel will provide the Group with valet parking at an overnight rate of $55.00 per day per automobile for overnight Group Guests. Attendees not staying overnight will be charged a fee of $23.00 valet parking fee per day.

DEPOSIT POLICY:

All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit and guaranteed with a major credit card.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

To avoid cancellation fees, guests need to cancel their reservation 48 prior to their arrival. Guaranteed reservations not cancelled within 48 hours prior to arrival will be billed a one night’s room and tax..

We invite you to submit your work for consideration. Whether you are an established investigator or an emerging professional, your contributions help shape a rich and forward‑thinking scientific program.

Please note that SABI is a closed meeting, and RSNA abstracts may also be submitted to SABI.

Membership Requirements

  • One author must be a SABI member. The submitting author does not need to be a member.
  • The first/presenting author must be within 10 years of completing training. If invited to present, staff will confirm the presenting author’s membership.

Submission Types

  • Scientific Oral Presentation — 6‑minute oral presentation.
  • Scientific Electronic Poster Presentation — PowerPoint submission plus a 3‑minute video. Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to the poster Q&A session and mentoring cocktail evening on Tuesday of the conference.
  • Educational Oral Presentation — 3‑minute educational oral presentation.
  • Educational Electronic Poster Presentation — PowerPoint submission plus a 3‑minute video. Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to the poster Q&A session and mentoring cocktail evening on Tuesday of the conference.

Abstract Requirements

  • Scientific abstracts (limit: 300-word maximum) must include: Purpose; Methods; Results; Conclusion. One figure or table is required.
  • Educational abstracts (limit: 300-word maximum) must include: Purpose; Content Organization; Major Teaching Points. A (3)-slide PowerPoint is required.

PLEASE NOTE: The submission must be completed in one sitting however you will be able to return and make changes until the site closes on May 15th.
